BEATLES: Help! Jackets Being Auctioned in March
The next rare Beatles memorabilia to hit the auction block will be the jackets worn by two of The Beatles in Help!. The longish coats, used during filming in the Alps, as well as the Help! soundtrack album cover, are expected to go for $80,000 or more when the hammer drops March 20th
The stylish and distinctive coats, used by George Harrison and Ringo Starr, were part of director Richard Lester’s personal collection.
According to Examiner.com, the jackets are just part of 200 lots of Beatles-related items that go to auction March 20th at the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool.
