A benefit show will kick off the fundraising efforts for a permanent tribute in the drummer’s hometown of Redditch, England.
The sister of late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham is heading up a tribute show to fund a permanent memorial for her brother in their hometown of Redditch, England.
Deborah Bonham will perform at the concert next Saturday at the town’s St. Stephen’s Church. The organizers hope to raise $85,000 for the design and installation of a permanent tribute to the drummer, who died in 1980. The John Bonham Memorial Fund is also accepting donations through GoldenGiving.com.
