Bob Dylan has released a video for the song “The Night We Called it a Day” from his new album of standards, Shadows in the Night.

In the black-and-white video, Dylan is caught up in a love triangle with a showgirl, whose other boyfriend appears to be a mobster, played by veteran actor Robert Davi, who also plays Frank Sinatra in a Las Vegas tribute act. (All the songs on the album were also recorded by Sinatra.) The showgirl is played by Tracy Phillips, the daughter of former Dallas Cowboys coach Wade Phillips.

There is one thing in the video that may not belong. It appears as though director Nash Edgerton has made it look as though it is taking place in the ’40s. This can be supported by the fact that the cop car shown dates back to that period, as well as the car Dylan is seen driving away in at the end. However, the character played by Robert Davi is seen driving a late ’60s or early ’70s Buick convertible.
