AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd can’t officially say that the band will soon hit the road, but he’s certainly not denying it.

“I can’t really offer anything official, but I’m pretty sure something’s gonna happen in the not-too-distant future,” says Rudd. “We’re all getting on a bit. It’s either do it now or do it posthumously.”

Plus, he says if The Rolling Stones can still do it then so can AC/DC.

The band just finished recording their first album since 2008’s Black Ice and Rudd is pleased with the results. “I hope it’s as good as I remember when I came away from the studio. It’s pretty damn good.”

A release date has yet to be announced.
