Don’t expect to see Judas Priest singer Rob Halford pitching an autobiography anytime soon.

While it seems Halford’s life as a closeted singer in a heavy metal band and his eventual coming out in 1998 would make for a rock book much more interesting than your standard bio, he says he’s too private of a person to make that happen. He tells the Brisbane Times, “I know that my own life, my own experiences have something in them that people could learn from, that could really help somebody. And that it could be written in a way that needn’t be exploitative or titillating. But I’m a private person, and I can say right now, it won’t happen.”
