Queen‘s Roger Taylor may have to bid adieu to Freddie Mercury again.

Last year, we reported on how Taylor had a 15-foot statue of Mercury moved to his English countryside property after the Queen musical, We Will Rock You, closed after 12 years at London’s Dominion Theatre. Now Freddie may be on the move again. Local officials claim that the statue breaks planning laws in the historic neighborhood.

But the Queen drummer is trying to hold onto it and has applied for permission to do so. His neighbors will have a chance to voice their opinion until mid-March at which point a ruling is expected. (Contact Music)
