 QUEEN: Britons’ Top Road Song

When it comes to songs to drive to, Britons go with Queen.

In a survey conducted by the automaker Mini, Queen locked down the first two slots with “Don’t Stop Me Now” and “Bohemian Rhapsody.” They were followed by:

3) “Bat Out of Hell” – Meat Loaf

4) “Don’t Stop Believin’” – Journey

5) “Dancing Queen” – Abba

6) “Hotel California” – Eagles

7) “Sex on Fire” – Kings of Leon

8) “Walking on Sunshine” – Katrina and the Waves

9) “Driving Home for Christmas” – Chris Rea

10) “I’m Gonna Be (500 miles)” – The Proclaimers

In a poll earlier this year by Insurance.com, Journey came out on top with “Don’t Stop Believin'” followed by “Bohemian Rhapsody” and AC/DC’s “You Shook Me All Night Long.” In a 2012 poll by Auto Trader, Dire Straits topped the list with “Sultans of Swing” followed by Queen at numbers two and three with “We Will Rock You” and “Another One Bites the Dust.”
