This is your life, Jimmy Page.

The Led Zeppelin guitarist took a rapt audience through the stories behind a couple of dozen of the hundreds of shots in his new “photographic autobiography,” Jimmy Page by Jimmy Page, last night (Wednesday) at the United Artists Theater at the Ace Hotel.

Soundgarden‘s Chris Cornell served both as interviewer and chose the photographs that Page discussed for nearly an hour and a half. The photographs were projected on a large screen behind the two, as they sat at a table on the stage of the sold out 2,200 seat theater. Cornell tells us that the final program was a bit different than what the organizers at Page’s publisher, Genesis, had originally planned.
