AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd has been in the news quite frequently as of late, but not for a reason anyone would envy. After dodging murder-for-hire charges brought up against him a month ago, Rudd now faces new, lesser charges of “threatening to kill” as well as possession of meth & weed.
According to a court report, Rudd threatened to kill a contractor and his daughter during a phone call. He has pleaded not guilty to the threat and the meth charges, however he has admitted to the possession of marijuana.
Now, if many comedians are to be believed, than most people are probably guilty of entertaining the idea of killing a contractor that they have had to work with. However actually threatening to do so (and including someone’s child in the mix) is exactly the kind of move that puts you in a situation like this. At this time the trial is still under way.
