An exhibit on the band in Milan, Italy has been postponed due to production delays.
If you were planning to head over to Milan, Italy in September to take in the Pink Floyd exhibit Their Mortal Remains, you are out of luck. Due to open on September 18th, it has been postponed due to production delays.
Organizers of the event say, “Building the complex exhibition to the required specification has made it impossible to make the opening date. Tickets sales for the exhibition are currently suspended. Existing ticket purchases will remain valid once the new exhibition dates are announced or can be refunded at point of purchase.”
The exhibit was scheduled to run for four weeks with the goal being to take visitors on a “surreal, multi-sensory journey through Pink Floyd’s extraordinary worlds, chronicling the music and art — from their debut album The Piper at the Gates of Dawn to the present.” Among the artifacts that will be on hand, should it ever open, are a few of the band’s inflatables, including the pig, and a 65-foot section of The Wall.
