KISS: Gotta Sell Those Tickets…At Least For Next Season
Gene Simmons has himself another reality show, and this time Paul Stanley will be joining him. The two have signed on with AMC for a show centered on their latest venture — owners of the L.A. KISS, a new Arena Football League team, and their first season, which starts on March 15th in San Antonio, Texas. The cable network has ordered 10 episodes of the still unnamed show, which will start airing this summer.
And speaking of football, Stanley congratulates University of Missouri defensive lineman Michael Sam for announcing he is gay. Stanley says, “Kudos… Sad it still matters to some. Sexual orientation means nothing. All be kind and proud.”
And sticking with sports, Simmons and his son Nick presented the award for Best Fighter at the Mixed Martial Arts Awards Friday in Las Vegas. On Saturday, Simmons was at the Pro Bull Rider event at the Honda Center in Anaheim, which is where the L.A. KISS will play their home games.
