EAGLES: Henley Responds to Zep’s Plant
A few weeks ago Robert Plant was asked for the two-millionth time about reuniting with Led Zeppelin and he said his reason for not doing so is because he is not bored. He says it was boredom, and not money, they brought the Eagles back together in the mid-’90s.
Don Henley was asked about Plant’s comment and he says, “No, I am never bored. The truth is, we enjoy doing it. It is hard work, especially for gentlemen of our age. But the fact is it’s a fantastic job and it’s a wonderful way to make a living and see the world and get to travel and we take our kids with us. I really wish [Led Zeppelin] would get back together because they were one of the greatest bands of all-time. I think maybe Robert is worried about hitting those notes. He may not be able to unbutton his shirt any more.”
Henley and the Eagles start their European tour on Wednesday in Birmingham, England. Plant and his Sensational Space Shifters start a European tour on June 8th in the Netherlands.
