Queen + Adam Lambert put the wraps on their European tour tonight (Friday) in Sheffield, England, but it looks as though there are more shows to come.

They just announced that they’ll perform on the opening night of the Rock in Rio festival in Brazil on September 18th. Rock in Rio president and founder Roberto Medina says, “30 years ago, Queen performed in front of 250,000 people who fell in love with the band, and it became one of the most iconic moments of Rock in Rio. I am positive that the moments from 30 years ago will be rejuvenated and rejoiced with Queen + Adam Lambert, making it again a moment no one will ever forget.” The show will mark the first-ever visit to South America for Lambert.

Queen + Lambert performed in Liverpool on Thursday and paid tribute to that town’s most famous citizens, The Beatles, with a performance of “You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away” featuring Brian May on vocals.
