Not the “new kid” anymore, Karen is lovin’ life in the Valley and spending afternoons with you every weekday! Born and raised in Detroit, she was weaned on rock ‘n roll spending countless nights at Cobo Arena and Pine Knob Music Theater with Bob Seger, KISS, Aerosmith, and more.

After years on the air in Detroit, Chicago, and Milwaukee, she was ecstatic to be offered the opportunity to host afternoons on KSLX in the city she calls her “happy place”.  It was her favorite vacation spot for years so it’s still surreal to be living here.

Outside of music and YOU, Karen’s favorite things include her dog Bodie and her husband Doug (note the order!). She’s a fitness fanatic, loves convertibles, travel, and plans lots of trips around concerts. If there is ever ANY free time, she wants to learn Spanish and create a photo album of all her concert ticket stubs!
