Former Buffalo Springfield, Poco and Souther, Hillman and Furay member Richie Furay kicked off three weeks of touring in support of his upcoming album on Wednesday at the Grammy Museum in L.A. His six song set, following an hour-long interview, included his Springfield classic “Kind Woman,” Poco’s “Pickin’ Up the Pieces” and “A Good Feelin’ to Know” plus, three songs from his new one, Hand in Hand, which comes out March 30th.

The 70-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer tells us that he’d probably be retired if not for the aborted Buffalo Springfield reunion tour in 2011, which got him writing songs again and eventually led to him to record Hand in Hand.
