Stones may play ENTIRE ‘Sticky Finger’ album on tour

There’s been no official word on whether the Rolling Stones will be touring North America this year. But as rumors pick up speed, a tasty new one has entered the mix: The band will reportedly perform Sticky Fingers in its entirety.

According to Song Mango, the group is close to announcing more than a dozen tour dates for this summer. And it looks like it will be playing all of 1971′s classic Sticky Fingers at each tour stop.

Reportedly, the tour will launch on May 24 in San Diego and will probably include stops at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl, in Milwaukee (on June 22) and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on July 4. Song Mango also notes that Colorado, Buffalo, Pittsburgh and New York stadiums and amphitheaters will most likely be part of the itinerary, as will some Canadian cities.

The Stones last played in the U.S. and Canada two years ago as part of their 50 & Counting Tour. The group’s most recent shows were in New Zealand and Australia last year as part of the same 50th-anniversary celebration.

Last month, Ronnie Wood revealed during an interview that the Stones would be returning to North America this summer. Even though the band itself has yet to announce the news, it’s certainly beginning to look like something will be made official soon.
