 QUEEN: More Dates With Lambert?

It’s looking more and more as if Queen is ready to spend another day at the races — by hitting the road again with American Idol star Adam Lambert, who stood in for Freddie Mercury at a handful of reunion shows last year.

Guitarist Brian May tells the BBC that he and drummer Roger Taylor are pondering a return to the road with the glammy singer in tow, a tour that could kick off in just a few months. May says, “We’ve already done some dates with Adam, who’s amazing. We’re ongoing, we can’t help it. I think we all protested too much in the sense that when Freddie went, we didn’t want to talk about it and we didn’t want to be Queen for a while. But after a while, you realize that people want to hear the songs and see you do things. So, no matter what you call it, Roger and I do stuff and I think we’ll be doing some more stuff this summer, probably in the States.”

The two acts last performed together at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas in September.
