B.B. KING: Falls Ill During Show, Tour Cancelled
The 89-year-old’s website cites “dehydration” and “exhaustion” at Friday’s Chicago show as reasons for axing eight shows.
B.B. King has cancelled the remaining eight dates on his schedule after he became ill during his performance Friday at Chicago’s House of Blues.
According to his website, the 89-year-old blues legend was immediately evaluated by a doctor and diagnosed with dehydration and exhaustion.
An appearance next Sunday at King’s B.B. King Blues Club and Grill in New York was among the cancelled dates.
