JIMMY PAGE: Here’s a Clue for You All
The legendary Led Zeppelin guitarist says he would like to do a career-spanning tour.
For the past couple of years, Jimmy Page has been threatening to work on new music or possibly play live. He’s at it again — and this time, he actually has offered up a few details.
Today (Tuesday) at a listening party in London for the next two Led Zeppelin reissues — Led Zeppelin 4 and Houses of the Holy — Page said, “If I was to play again, it would be with musicians that would be…some of the names might be new to you. I haven’t put them together yet but I’m going to do that next year. If I went out to play, I would play material that spanned everything from my recording career right back to my very, very early days with The Yardbirds. There would certainly be some new material in there as well… I would play all of the things I’m known to play –- instrumental versions of ‘Dazed and Confused’ etcetera, etcetera.”
These next two Zeppelin albums will be out on October 28th.
