GREGG ALLMAN: Permission May Not Have Been Granted
It turns out that the producers behind the Gregg Allman bio-pic, Midnight Rider, may not have had permission to film a scene on a train trestle last week in Wayne County, Georgia. An accident there resulted in the death of 27-year old crew member Sarah Jones, who was struck by a train.
Jay Sedrish, the film’s executive producer, told authorities it was “complicated” when asked if they had permission to film on the tracks. CSX, which operates the tracks, says it denied permission. Seven other crew members were also hurt in the accident.
