Van Morrison‘s next album pairs him with guest stars to revisit some of his classics. Due March 24th from RCA, Duets: Re-Working the Catalogue steers away from the hits — there’s no “Wild Night,” “Brown Eyed Girl,” “Blue Money” or “Wavelength” — but it promises new interpretations of songs with some of Van’s fans and friends from across the music world.

Among the highlights:

  • Dire StraitsMark Knopfler guests on “Irish Heartbeat.”
  • Steve Winwood brings his talents to “Fire in the Belly.”
  • Joss Stone joins him for “Wild Honey.”
  • Simply Red‘s Mick Hucknall guests on “Streets of Arklow.”
  • Natalie Cole brings her talents to “These Are the Days.”
  • Georgie Fame — a frequent Morrison tour band player — is alongside for “Get on With the Show.”

The first single updates “Real Real Gone” with Canadian pop singer Michael Buble.
